On the Other Side

In this life, nature can be disastrous but it can also be breathtaking. So are the things that we experience in this lifetime. But we have the choice to let them destroy us or let us see God's hand in the situation leaving us breathless. It is our choice. Letting God work within us does not alway happen fast - in fact, more times than not, it is a slow painful time until we hit that turning curve and we look back and realize - I am on the other side. On the other side of what? pain, grief, sadness, loneliness, addictions; whatever it may be that you are experiencing and struggling with right now. So if you find yourself in one of these times, just remember there is a other side and it is not far from you right now. God loves you and He has not forgotten about you or your situation. Consider this: We are a people who error many times in our lives but we still love our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and we give them good gifts; how much more does the Lord, who is perfect, loves us! Even more than we love and He will give to us good gifts. Sometimes these gifts are not wrapped the way you expect but take care because the gifts from the Lord are precious. Be encouraged my friend - you are never alone and take some time to notice the One who notices you!

Psalm 72:14 (NLT) He will redeem them from oppression and violence for their lives are precious to Him

Psalm 17:8 (NAS) Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of your wings

Matthew 10:28-31 (NLT) Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. What is the price of two sparrows - one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
